Happy Friday, friends! Is anyone doing anything fun this weekend for an early Valentine's Day? We're planning some fun stuff with the boys, and I'm so excited for a warm February weekend to celebrate with my favorite guys.Linking up with April, Amanda, Andrea, Amy and Katie today.
-ONE-
Walker's school was randomly "sort-of cancelled" yesterday due to the auto body shop next door having a massive gasoline spill, causing the fumes to completely overtake his little school. You could choose to let your child stay, but I got a headache after about five minutes of standing there talking to the director, so there was no way I was letting my child sit there five hours in that. Yuck!
So, we had a really random, unplanned Thursday at home, complete with a trip to Trader Joe's! I usually score a few more fun things, but since I had the boys with me, I had to be quick. Here are some of my favorite things from good ol' TJ's:
+ Tulips {or any flower from there, really!}
+ Veggie Sticks
+ Strawberry Yogurt O's cereal
+ Cookie Butter Sandwich Cookies
+ Farmhouse English Cheddar with Italian Truffles {their cheese selection is awesome}
+ Cookie Butter Sandwich Cookies {runner up: plain ol' Cookie Butter}
+ Wine, duh! But my favorite is the Well Read red wine, as it's free of sulfites and tastes delicious. And of course, the Trader Joe's brand Sauvignon Blanc
+ Not pictured, but also things I love from Trader Joe's: riced cauliflower, pre-washed/diced veggies, canned goods, dark chocolate covered nuts, organic fruit crusher pouches, coconut and almond milk, all of their produce {SO CHEAP!} and their olive oil selection.
And of course I had to get those tulips in some water as soon as we got home!

I've mentioned this here before, but are any of y'all watching "Victoria?" It's on our local PBS station {you can also watch online} and I'm completely obsessed. Between this and "The Crown," my love for British History is completely at an all-time high right now. Ha!
-THREE-
Because our Texas weather has been bouncing around from cold to warm to hot to freezing -- all within a week -- everyone in my house is suffering from allergies right now. Ugh! I read online that diffusing a mixture of lavender, lemon and peppermint oils help remedy allergies, so you better believed I hopped on Amazon and Prime'd the heck out of those three oils to pop in our diffuser. I haven't been on the "oil train" before, but after I diffused Thieves oil in the house while Knox had his poor bout with gastroenteritis last week, I swear that's the only way the rest of us didn't catch it. So, consider me sold...ish. ;)

Has anyone seen the movie "Jackie" with Natalie Portman? I'm just dying to see it, but of course we don't really go out to the movies anymore {#momlife} and instead wait for it to come out on Amazon Fire TV or Netflix. But, I'd love to know if it's maybe worth grabbing a babysitter for in the near future...? Let me know!
And speaking of Netflix, y'all, I'm just dying for "House of Cards" to come back in May! Bring on some Frank Underwood!

So, as y'all know, I love celebrating Valentine's Day with Brandon and the boys, trying my best at making heart-shaped crafts with Walker and decorating the heck out of my house for this fun holiday...but sometimes you just gotta pop some bubbly and have some laughs with your best girlfriends, am I right?!
