What's Hap-pinning Wednesday: My {Current} Favorite Hair Products

A sweet reader {hi, Holly!} asked if I would share my favorite hair products, and so today I'm divulging my current obsessions in the haircare department.

I have done previous posts about my favorite products (which you can read by clicking the "Favorite Products" sidebar to the left), but these are my current favorites. I do tend to rotate in the shampoo and dry shampoo department, but the rest of these products are pretty tried-and-true and ones I really love.

+ Living Proof Full Shampoo and Conditioner
{My runner up is Kenra Volumizing Shampoo and Conditioner}. I feel like these products give my fine, thin hair the most volume without added weight or a weird texture. It smells amazing and while relatively expensive, I feel like no other shampoo/conditioner can compare. And, I can typically find a good combo deal on Amazon!

+ Aquage Dry Shampoo Style Extending Spray

I rotate between this and Living Proof Perfect Hair Day Dry Shampoo; they're both equal in my book! I just purchased this one because it was on sale recently and Living Proof wasn't. :) The smell of this -- like all Aquage products -- is awesome and I like the texture it gives my hair without any white residue.

+ Neutrogena Anti-Residue Shampoo
Since I only wash my hair every two or three days, I really need to get all of the product {read: dry shampoo} out of my hair when it comes time to wash. This is a cult favorite for a reason! It doesn't smell amazing, but I feel like my hair is squeaky clean when I use it. (I do follow up with my normal shampoo and conditioner after I use this, though.)

+ Generic Value Products Volumizing Sculpting Foam
I was using a very expensive mousse when Brandon came home with this from Sally Beauty Supply...for seriously less than $10. And it does a great job giving my hair added volume from this lightweight mousse!

+ L'Oreal Elnett Satin Hairspray

They make various holds of this one, so choose which one is your favorite! I personally like the Extra Strong Hold since I live in Humidville USA. But I like that this hairspray isn't stiff or crunchy at all (even with the strong hold) and can be easily brushed through. It also doesn't weigh my hair down like some other hairsprays can, which, if you have fine, thin hair like me, know that that's a big no-no!

+ Keranique Lift & Repair Treatment Spray
I love this stuff! It gives my roots a little boost that I want (since I live in Texas and love me some big hair!) but it also helps repair my hair at the same time. Can't beat that!

+ Big Sexy Hair Powder Play
This. Stuff. Is. Awesome! My cousin used this on my hair when she did it for my wedding and I've been addicted ever since. It's a fine powder that you sprinkle on your roots to give it added texture so you can tease it. It gives your hair just the right amount of tackiness to allow the teasing comb to really tease. It's the best!

+ Wet Brush
If you don't have one of these, please get one! I can totally tell a difference when I use a "regular" brush vs. the Wet Brush. It gets out tangles so easily without any (or at the very least, minimal) pain and works wonders on wet hair straight from the shower. I don't know if I could ever use another brush after this one.

+ Phillips Teaze Brush
A friend's sister used this on my hair at her wedding and I went out and bought one as soon as I got home. I tease my hair and then use this brush to smooth out the tease without it falling flat. Some people actually tease their hair with this brush, but my hair is too fine for that. I've tried combing out the tease with the actual teasing comb, but it doesn't smooth it down as well as this brush.

+ Conair Teasing Comb
I would be lost without this baby! As you can gather, I love big hair. "The higher the hair, the closer to God," is my mantra. ;) I use this brush to tease my hair when I'm wearing it down, when I'm wearing it half-up and even when I do a ponytail. {Because as my friend Susana will tell you, I'm no fan of the "slicked-back pony." ;)} This thing is so cheap but works wonders.

Do y'all use any of these products? Which are your tried-and-true ones?
