Thoughts for Thursday: Life Lately

Happy Thursday, y'all! A good ol' "Life Lately" post for y'all today. Here's a bit about what we've been up to: 

+ Dentist Appointments
Both Walker and I recently had dentist appointments, and while his was awesome, mine was less than. I'm still planning to get Invisalign next year to fix my crooked front teeth, but I'm still nervous about it since I'm actually missing a lateral and would have to go with a "dummy" tooth for a few months. I know it's all vanity, but still. Sigh. 

+ Enjoying awesome spring-like weather
In Texas, we have about a month and a half of "spring" before our temperatures turn to summer from about May-September, so we try to get out and enjoy our cool evenings with low humidity as much as we can. One of our favorite parks in the area also has restaurants in walking distance, so we've been hitting those up. Drinks on the patio while the kids play? Yes, please! 

+ Rodeo Day
Walker's little "school" recently had Rodeo Day, and it was just the cutest thing ever. We are so thankful for his preschool and will definitely miss it this summer! ;) 

+ Trying new foods

Knox is definitely my great eater, and that boy loves him some blueberries. And can we please talk about those eyelashes?!

+ Enjoying 
We had an Oklahoma Redbud Tree planted outside our kitchen window last year, and it's blooming beautifully! I love looking out of my window and seeing this gorgeous tree blooming! Spring has sprung! 

+ Play dates with friends
We were on Spring Break last week and had lots of fun play dates with our friends: The Galleria, The Tubes, a local park, a fun indoor play place, lunch with Brandon, and more! 

+ Cuddles with my boys
So beyond thankful for them each and every day and can't believe these precious souls call me "Mommy." 

So, while definitely not the most exciting, there's a bit of our real life over here! :)
