Happy Friday, y'all!

-ONE-
Brandon and I are going to our very first Jimmy Buffett concert tomorrow night and we are so excited! I guess you can just call us "Parrot Heads" now. Ha! We can't wait!

-TWO-
Speaking of places we're going, we're headed to Destin next month with both boys in tow. It will be both of their first plane rides -- honestly I am dreading that part of it, hence why we put it off for so long -- so I need allllllll the tips for traveling with kiddos and beaching with kiddos. Please, please hit me up!

I've already purchased a cheap umbrella stroller for Knox and gate check bag to put it in before we board, as well as a foldable pool for Knox at the beach and am planning to bring three sound machines {ha!} for the hotel room, but please let me know of anything else that are "must haves!"

-THREE-
I mentioned it a few weeks ago, but we took the iPad away from Walker. After Knox was born, we got into a bad habit of letting him watch Netflix on it {on the kid channel} and/or learning games before bed. And as soon as we would take it away, he would completely lose his mind and throw massive fits. So, we just hid it, told him it broke and he stopped asking for it after about a week. Of course, he still watches some TV -- and more this summer than I'd care to admit -- but after I read this article in Real Simple, it really got me thinking...especially because Walker has always been an early riser and I never really thought about how screen time could be linked to less sleep. Definitely go read the article if you're interested!

-FOUR-
I bit the bullet and again purchased this T-shirt from Old Navy and threw this one in my cart, too, since they were having a great sale that I couldn't pass up! I love throwing on a cute tee during the day, and I thought this one would be so cute to wear on our vacation.

-FIVE-
I decided to go traditional with Father's Day gifts this year and instead of something fully store-bought, I took the boys to a pottery painting place earlier this week and let them {well, Walker, really} paint a coffee mug for my Dad for Father's Day. Walker had a ball painting the mug, and then I had the ladies there help me do Walker's handprint on one side and Knox's footprint on the other side.

I have to go pick up the final product next week and can't wait to see how it turned out! I know my Dad will love it; sometimes the sweet, sentimental gifts with tiny little hand and footprints are often a treasured gift, and I hope it makes him smile. :)
