Friday Favorites: Last One for July

Well, it's the last Friday of July {how did that happen?} and we have a weekend full of no plans other than welcoming my husband home from a week-long business trip to Canada {#allthepraisehands} and dinner with a friend. So let's get to my favorites this week, shall we?

-ONE-
I never go too crazy on the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale {mostly because I can't stand to look at jeans, booties and puffer vests when it's upwards of 100* outside...and also because I don't have $500 burning a hole in my pocket ;) } but I did order this Calson top using a $10 Nordstrom Note last week. I'm slowly starting to embrace the ruffle/bell-sleeve trend and think this will be super cute later this summer and into fall. 

Did anyone get anything good? 

-TWO-
Speaking of things I'm loving, I'm loving this tunic from that PinkBlush sent me {thanks, guys!}. It's so comfy and works great as a transitional piece between summer and fall when it's still warm here in Texas. I think it would also look great with leggings {it's long enough to cover the bum -- a necessity with leggings!} and I am really looking forward to wearing it with skinny jeans and wedges, too. It's nice and comfy, wide {but not in a bad way} and flouncy...and it's fun to wear!

And yes, if you're wondering, I'm no fashion model. ;) Click the link above to see an actual model do it some justice! 

And, as an aside, I have a nude tank on underneath this shirt. I don't personally think you need one under it, as the shirt is thick and not see-through, but I wanted a smoother look...and needed something to suck in that post-babies belly. ;)

-THREE-
I fell in love with this tote after Katie blogged about it, and I'm thinking I need to scoop it up pretty quickly to replace my nearly-four-year-old, falling-apart Kate Spade Diaper Bag. I have to go into Old Navy next weekend to get some socks and a few staples for Walker to start school next month, so hopefully it will be there so I can grab it. If not, I'm ordering online ASAP! 

-FOUR-
Well, I bit the bullet and ordered Rapidlash after Owen's suggestion. I've only been using it for six days now, but I can't wait to see the results and report back! Since having kids, my eyelashes have been so thin and not nearly as long and thick as usual, so I'm willing to try anything at this point. I'll let y'all know if it's worth the money!

My sweet blogging friend Ashley sent me the most adorable monogrammed hat on Monday and it was such a sweet surprise! Ashley owns Premium Pineapple Embroidery and I just love every single thing she does. Be sure to check her out! Ashley, thank you again! You made my Monday! :)

-SIX-
It has been a long week by myself with these two cutie pies, but I have been really relishing in that special time with them with just me. It's by no means easy, but I know I'll look back on these times and smile -- especially when they're big, stinky, hairy teenagers who won't want to take a selfie with their mama or kiss her endlessly.
