Inspiring Vocations

The NCW inspires its youth into vocations of a married life, a single life as an itinerant, or a religious life.  Many people including Pope Francis has been very impressed with how the NCW inspire its youth into the priestly vocations.  The youth in the communities are active.  In my community, many of them enjoy cantering. Since the NCW has been in Guam, it has encouraged its youth to participate in the World Youth Day held every three years. Two years ago, about 300 youths from Guam participated in the World Youth Day in Poland.  

Today, another 300 people from Guam will be taking a pilgrimage to Rome to attend the 50th anniversary of the NCW and to meet Pope Francis. The event will take place in May 5th.  The World Youth Day and Pilgrimage often inspire those walking in the Way to the three different vocations. Families are also being inspired to become missionaries.
