Friday Favorites

Happy Friday, friends! I'm sorry for my lack of posting this week; honestly, the time just got away from me and we were just having too much fun that sitting down to my computer became harder and harder as the week went on.

Anyway, I hope y'all had wonderful weeks and are looking forward to a fun-filled Father's Day weekend! Here are a few things I'm loving this Friday:

-ONE-
I have a major sweet tooth and always crave something sweet after lunch and dinner, but also don't want something that's a million calories, either. So when I found these "Gone Bananas!" dark chocolate covered banana slices at Trader Joe's, I scooped them up! At only 25 calories per piece, they're the perfect thing to satiate my sweet craving. (And yes, I know we could totally make these, but there are just some things I'll use the "Easy Button" on and this is one of them!)

-TWO-
When Brandon was gone last weekend, I sat in the tub and scoured the Internet for a cute, ruffled, one-shoulder one-piece bathing suit. Tall order, right?! But I knew what I wanted and of course who to the rescue but Amazon. I ordered this $19 suit thinking it might not be as cute on me as it was on the model, but it came in and I actually really like it! I would advise you to size up one size. I'm normally a small (2/4) and ordered the medium (6/8) and it was perfect. I just wish I had it for our beach trip!

-THREE-
We stumbled upon the "90's Summer Hits" station on Spotify this week and we are hooked! All of my 80's-born babies, these are the songs from our middle school/early high school years and we found ourselves singing along to every song!

-FOUR-
Walker did a little STEM-based LEGO camp this week through Bricks 4 Kidz, and he really enjoyed it -- so much so that he asked to go back next year! (Which I'm totally onboard with.) He built so many cool things, did little crafts, and it was the perfect two-hour length for him to get out of the house and have some fun, and for me to run a few errands with just one child. I'd totally recommend this camp!

And meanwhile, Knox and I had some fun of our own, in addition to running errands. ;)

-FIVE-
Our sweet realtor (who just so happens to also be our sister-in-law's mom) came by earlier this week and brought us lunch, a gift for the boys, and a housewarming gift. Our gift was this adorable sign she had made to hang outside by the pool. I thought it was so cute and so thoughtful, and it looks precious on our patio!

-SIX-
I've been on such an organizing kick this week after I saw my high school friend, Megan, post her Instagram stories about organizing her own house. I started with my pantry and did a little bit outside in the garage and whew, it feels so much better to have things organized! It's therapy, that's for sure.

I stupidly didn't take a "before" picture of my pantry, but here are the afters:

First picture: The bin on the top row is this one from Target; the bins on the second and fourth rows (and the one to the far right on the fifth row) are these from Target; the bins on the third row are from the Dollar Tree; and the bins on the fifth row are old from Target that I already had (similar here). I found my tiered organizers from Tuesday Morning, but these are similar.

Second picture: The Lazy Susans are these from Target; the basket with soap in it is from the Dollar Tree; and the two baskets on the bottom two shelves are old from Target that I already had (similar here)

-SEVEN-
Did anyone see how gorgeous the Duchess of Sussex looked on Thursday when she visited Cheshire with the Queen? I loved her Givenchy dress and thought she looked so at ease -- and the Queen clearly looked like she enjoyed Meghan's company. (And I love that she got to ride on the royal train before even her husband!)
