Happy Monday, y'all! We had a fun-filled weekend celebrating lots of birthdays, so let's get down to it:

\\ FRIDAY:

+ It was my girlfriend Victoria's 30th birthday, so we celebrated with an overnight at the Gaylord Texan! We met at the hotel, had massages in the spa and then got to visit for a while there afterward, and then went upstairs to our room to get dressed. We both said it felt like college getting ready together and chatting about makeup, family and just life! The clock hit 8:45 p.m. and we were just getting ready to go to dinner and we couldn't believe that A) We were having dinner that late and B) The sun was still up and it didn't feel like 8:45 p.m. at all. #weareold

Anyway, we took an Uber to Sloan & Williams Winery in adorable downtown Grapevine and had so much fun laughing and talking over a bottle of wine, a charcuterie board and a flatbread.

I loved, loved being with my friend, who, surprise (!!!) has moved back to Dallas from Austin after 2.5 months there. So glad to have my friend back in the DFW!

\\ SATURDAY:

In true Mom fashion, we were both awake by 7:30 a.m. and out the door back home to our families by 8:40 a.m. or so. You know you're a mom when "sleeping in" is 7:30. ;)

+ I made a quick pit-stop at Trader Joe's on the way home, and then came home to three boys excited to see me, which is always a sweet welcome home. We immediately got in the pool and swam until lunchtime. Brandon grabbed Chick-fil-A for lunch and then the boys went down for a nap while I picked up the house from the boys' overnight of pizza, hide-and-go-seek, and then donuts for Saturday morning breakfast.

+ Saturday night consisted of getting ready and prepared to celebrate Knox's 2nd birthday party while Brandon went to get a massage -- an early Father's Day gift -- and then we started and watched a few episodes of "Reign" before calling it a night.

\\ SUNDAY:

+ We went to church in the morning, and the boys just looked so precious so I had to snap a picture. ;)

+ Then, we got home and it was time for Knox's little (belated) swim party!

Brandon grilled hamburgers and hot dogs; I cut up a watermelon and had chips, the hamburger sides and some cupcakes, along with some rosé and other drinks, and we all had fun visiting and swimming. That's it! Just swimming and visiting. No over-the-top decorations, no theme, nothing. And it was great. We just loved and enjoyed celebrating our  sweet boy! (And let me tell you, this was probably one of the easiest parties I've had in four years of being a mom!)

I hope y'all have wonderful weeks. We're gearing up for a fun-filled week of swimming with friends each day, and I love it!
