Thanks to the fantastic people at Penguin Random House Australia and to herald best selling author, Elliot Perlman's first children's book, we have three copies of The Adventures of Catvinkle to give away!

The Adventures of Catvinkle is a tail-spin of a tale that will have you howling with laughter –
and remind you that if you aren’t open to adventure, you might never meet your best friend.

Elliot was inspired to write The Adventures of Catvinkle while on a book tour in Amsterdam, when he came across a cat sleeping lazily in a bay window. 

He says: ‘this triggered the thought of a blissed-out, slightly selfish, cat having its world turned upside down by the unexpected arrival of an animal long totally reviled by cats, namely a dog. But then I wondered, what if the dog was so lovely, sweet, innocent and friendly that the cat couldn’t help itself but fall head-over-heels for the dog.What then? How would they negotiate the tricky worlds of cat and dog communities’ expectations?’

To enter, simply tell us in 25 words or less whether you are a cat person or a dog person and why?

Email your answer along with your name and postal address to dimity. The responses we like the best will each win a copy of the book. Competition is open to anyone, worldwide, so long as they have an Australian postal address for delivery of the books. Please note, we cannot deliver to PO Boxes. Entries without a name and street address will be ineligible. Winners will be announced right here on our website on Monday 5 November 2018.

Competition runs from 5 pm Friday 26 October to 5 pm Saturday 3 November 2018. Adults can enter for those aged 17 and under. This is a game of skill, not chance. The judge’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
