Happy Monday! I am so excited it's October 1! Yay!We had a fun weekend, but Knox and I both woke up with sore throats and coughs yesterday morning, so we are heading to the doctor today to see if we can nip this in the bud. Here's a quick weekend recap:
\\ FRIDAY:
+ I took the boys to a new-to-us indoor play place, Luv 2 Play. It was such an awesome place and we all really enjoyed it.
+ We went to our local high school's football game on Friday night with some friends and had a fun time! The boys all did great and lasted a half. We left as the band was heading out to perform for halftime and it was the perfect amount of time.
\\ SATURDAY:
+ We had planned to go to the Arboretum to see their amazing "Autumn at the Arboretum" pumpkin patch, but it was completely pouring down rain. So, we decided on the way there to detour to the Dallas World Aquarium, which was equally as fun for the guys. We had lunch at our favorite taco place in Dallas, Desperado's. So delicious!
\\ SUNDAY:
+ We obviously didn't go to church with 2/4 of us under the weather. We hung out around the house and decided to get some stuff done outside, including cleaning the patio, patio furniture, rug, cushions, etc. It felt good to get some cleaning done.
+ I took a nap while the boys did during the second half of the Cowboys game; I made a quick batch of pumpkin bread; and we had this Crock Pot meal for supper.
