What's Hap-pinning Wednesday: Mother's Day Rewind
I had a wonderful Mother's Day and was most definitely spoiled by Brandon and the boys!They surprised me with a beautiful bouquet of roses on Friday, and we had a super easy Friday night of frozen pizzas and a few episodes of "Imposters" once the boys were in bed.
Saturday morning, we had brunch at one of my favorite local places, FnG Eats. (I love their pot roast eggs benedict and of course, mimosas!) We followed up brunch with a trip to our local Ace Hardware for a dew things we needed, and while we were there, the boys partook in their little essential oils bath salts station they had set up for little ones to do for their moms. It was so precious! (And I used them that night and can attest that they were amazing!)
Saturday was a rainy, gross day, so we spent the majority of it inside. I popped some popcorn (with M&M's in it, of course -- my favorite combination!) and we introduced the boys to "The Little Mermaid," which was my favorite movie as a little girl, along with "Cinderella" and "Sleeping Beauty!"
We got a break in the rain on Saturday evening, so we made a trip to a local farmer's market and I got to pick out a Meyer lemon tree and a pot for Mother's Day! I'm so excited about it and hope to get some fruit from it.
Sunday, we went to church + Sunday School, and then came home and spent the entirety of the afternoon/evening by the pool. It was a gorgeous day and I loved getting pampered and waited on hand and foot! :)
