Whirlwind Weekend: Graduation, Birthday + More!
Today is Knox's third birthday! I can't believe my baby boy is already three! Where has the time gone?!

We are celebrating with his favorite lunch today, Chick-fil-A (because, of course!) and lots of play time. It seems like yesterday this was him; it's true what they say: "The days are long but the years are short."

We did lots of celebrating this weekend -- for both boys!
Thursday was the last day of school; I couldn't believe it! This school year seemed to practically fly by and I cannot believe we'll have a Kindergartener in August.

Walker graduated from Pre-K on Thursday evening (all the tears!) and then we had a family dinner following for his guests. The graduation was so sweet and of course, they played two of the saddest songs ever during the video slideshow ("Don't Blink" and "You're Gonna Miss This") that had both my mom and me in a pile of ugly tears. But it was so sweet and Walker was so proud -- and I loved seeing how happy and excited he was.

On Friday, we held Knox's third birthday party at our house: a popsicles, pool and pizza party! And, the party wasn't complete until the ice cream truck made a stop by our house! I was so glad I booked Texas Ice Cream Trucks to come by; it made the dessert aspect of the party so easy and the kids (and adults!) loved it.
Knox loves popsicles and ice cream, so when I found popsicle chalk at Dollar Tree, it set off my theme! And thanks to Oriental Trading, Target, Walmart and Dollar Tree, we had a pretty cute little party!

So as you can see, we had loads of celebrating over the weekend! We can't wait to continue to celebrate Knox today! He requested my meatloaf for supper and Funfetti cupcakes (with Funetti icing, natch!) for dessert, so I'll be making those today for him!
