Ideas and advice from well-known children’s book authors and illustrators including Ursula Dubosarsky, Andrew Joyner, Margaret Wild and Claire Saxby can also be found throughout Making Picture Books.

Although this book is less than 100 pages, it is absolutely brimming with helpful information for writers and illustrators at all stages of their creative journey. And, it is the perfect size to slip into your bag when heading out to write in your favourite café or library.

It could also be used in the classroom for units of work about picture books.
