Piggy is a pig with a passion for reading. He spends most of his time wearing his huge red glasses and his head buried in a book. This makes him oblivious to the world around him.
Down to his last book, he wants to share the ending with a friend. But reading alone fills his life. Piggy realises it’s time to look around; to find someone to share things with.

Stunning illustrations in vivid colour are created using pencil and watercolour then digitally finished. Pictures full of animation are interspersed with text on alternate pages, opposite full-page illustrations. These show a more elaborate story which is visually stimulating, fun-filled and entertaining. Especially impressive are the pictures that depict the determined Piggy who refuses to give up. This determination holds a commanding position through the book.Other themes that drive the story are perseverance, friendship, play, and the value of observation, learning and reading.
