We went camping! With trees and tents and stuff! There was no T.V. Can you believe that, no TV no iPhones and no tablets.. no X-box. Mom said we were unplugged. We looked and looked for a plug in but all we found were bugs, leaves, rocks and one rabbit.
Izzy and Kael were not sure what they would do with no TV. But they forgot about missing that TV while they were exploring. They found 4 different bugs. They searched for leaves and had a contest to find the biggest. Mom brought some paint and they painted a few rocks they found.
It's amazing what you can find to do in nature. The colors, the fresh air, something different everywhere you look. It was not long before they didn't miss their tablets at all. They didn't notice what cartoon they were missing.
They told stories by the fire. Laughed at squirrels chasing each other and learned how to make sticks to cook marshmallows. This unplugged thing is alright! Especially when you get s'mores.
